JL Original Designs offers a curated collection of décor and specialty items available for rental to enhance your event design. The following policies ensure that all rental items are handled with care and remain available for future events.

Reservation of Rental Items

Rental items are reserved only after a signed contract and required payment have been received. Items are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability cannot be guaranteed without confirmation.

Rental Period

Rental items are provided for use during the contracted event date only unless otherwise specified in writing. JL Original Designs will coordinate delivery, setup, and retrieval times as outlined in the event agreement.

Handling of Rental Items

Clients are responsible for ensuring rental items are handled carefully during the event. Rental items may not be altered, painted, glued, or modified in any way without prior written approval.

Damage or Loss

Clients are responsible for the replacement cost of any rental items that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear. Replacement costs will be billed at the full retail value of the item.

Substitutions

In the rare event that a rental item becomes unavailable due to damage, loss, or unforeseen circumstances, JL Original Designs reserves the right to substitute the item with one of equal or greater value and similar style.

Third-Party Handling

Rental items may only be handled by JL Original Designs staff or approved vendors unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Rental Return Policy

Clients are responsible for returning all rental items to JL Original Designs unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Return Timeline

All rental items must be returned within two (2) days following the event date unless a different return date has been arranged in advance.

Condition of Items

Rental items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, excluding normal event use. Items should be free of excessive wax, food residue, floral debris, or damage.

Late Returns

Rental items not returned within the required timeframe will incur a $50 late fee for every two (2) days the items are overdue until the items are returned.

Missing or Damaged Items

Clients are responsible for the full replacement cost of any rental items that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair. Replacement costs will be billed at the current retail value of the item.

Cleaning Fees

Basic cleaning is included in the rental fee. However, items returned with excessive wax, stains, or residue may incur additional cleaning charges.
