A May Wedding Filled with Soft Purple Florals, Meaningful Traditions & Beautiful Details
There is something so special about a spring wedding—the soft light, the fresh greenery, and flowers beginning to bloom everywhere you look. Jessica and Ezra’s May 2026 wedding at Pen Ryn Estate and River’s Edge captured that feeling beautifully.
Their day was romantic, personal, and filled with thoughtful details. With a color palette centered around soft shades of purple, lavender, blush, white, and fresh greenery, every element felt elegant without being overly formal.
A Soft & Romantic Purple Wedding Palette
Purple was the perfect choice for Jessica and Ezra’s wedding. Rather than using one shade, we incorporated a range of soft lavender and lilac tones with blush, white, and touches of greenery.
The floral designs featured roses, lisianthus, alstroemeria, delicate filler flowers, and textured greenery. The result was a garden-inspired look that felt natural and romantic against the setting at Pen Ryn.
Jessica’s bouquet was full and organic, with layers of lavender and purple blooms mixed with white flowers and eucalyptus. The soft purple ribbon wrapped around the stems added one more beautiful detail.
The groom’s boutonniere brought the same floral palette into his classic black tuxedo, creating a beautiful connection between the two of them.
A Beautiful Jewish Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place inside the light-filled tent, where the natural surroundings became part of the design.
A warm wood chuppah served as the focal point. The simple structure was softened with lush floral arrangements cascading from two corners, creating an asymmetrical garden-inspired design. Lavender, purple, white, and greenery came together to frame the couple without taking away from the meaning of the ceremony itself.
Above the ceremony space, flowing white draping added softness and movement to the tent. The fabric gathered at the center of the ceiling and draped outward, creating an intimate feeling beneath the larger tent.
One of our favorite details was the aisle. Instead of a traditional floral runner, delicate petals were scattered along both sides of the aisle, creating a soft path toward the chuppah.
It was simple, romantic, and perfectly suited to the setting.
Thoughtful Details Throughout the Celebration
Jessica and Ezra also incorporated personal touches into their reception details.
A signature drink display featured custom artwork and illustrations for their specialty cocktails, including a whiskey-based drink and an espresso martini. Small floral arrangements in glass vessels surrounded the display, tying the cocktail station back into the overall wedding design.
These are the little details that make a wedding feel like your wedding. They don't have to be complicated—they just need to have meaning and feel intentional.
A Day Full of Joy
And then there were the moments that can't be designed.
The laughter.
The anticipation.
The excitement of seeing each other.
The joy on Jessica and Ezra’s faces.
Those candid moments are what make wedding days so memorable. The flowers, chuppah, stationery, draping, and décor create the setting, but it is the people and the emotions that ultimately make the celebration unforgettable.
Jessica and Ezra’s May wedding was a beautiful reminder that the best wedding designs don't compete with the couple—they help tell their story.
We loved being part of this beautiful celebration and watching all of the thoughtful details come together at Pen Ryn.
Congratulations, Jessica & Ezra! May your life together be filled with as much love, laughter, and beauty as your wedding day. 🤍💜
