Camden Waterfront

A brand new wedding and event venue opened on the Camden Waterfront this past December 2020. Hilton took advantage of prime waterfront property to build a Hilton Garden Inn. This new hotel includes a grill, meeting rooms and ballroom along with amazing views of the Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline.

In January 2021, we partnered with the Hilton Garden Inn for the first venue style shoot. This new venue space can provide many options for micro-weddings, small intimate weddings to about 150 guests receptions. The neutral pallet of the room allows for many amazing design options.

JL Original Designs got to work on coordinating and creating an event design for the Whitman Ballroom to show off all it's possibilities. First steps was to pick the color pallet and research trends. Blush, Sage, Gray and Ivory became the foundation of the design.

The Whitman Ballroom was set with ten guest tables, two bars, A Sweetheart table, DJ, cake table and a dessert table. Ivory linens covered all the guests tables and accented with light gray napkins. Blush linens covered the accent tables as well as the Sweetheart table. The guest tables were adorn with three different centerpieces. Four tables had a tall vase with a floral arrangement. Another four tables had a silver mercury pedestal vases filled with coordination flowers. The last three table centerpieces were a trio of low floral arrangements. Every table had crystal votives and acrylic table numbers.

Of course we did not stop with just decorating the Whitman Ballroom. We also had to show the Bridal Experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. Thank you to Fashion Du Jour Bridal for one of their Bridal dress and thank you to Marks Jewelers for the bridal rings.
