Lauren and Michael’s Wedding Day

It’s all about the details, the following pictures of stationery, floral arrangements, and every other detail that made this wedding perfectly amazing for Lauren and Michael. Five months of planning,  yep you are reading that right, only five months of planning to bring all these beautiful details together.  Lauren and Michael had their plate full as they planned their April 2019 wedding.  Lauren loves the Fall and the color burgundy. So we took on the task of bringing burgundy into the spring.  With accents of gold and blush, this wedding was ready for the spring.

Stationery

Lauren and Michael chose a burgundy pocket style invitation. With opal paper and simple fonts to complete their custom wedding invitation. Simple ceremony programs on cream paper accented with Lauren and Michael’s initials in gold. For a fun twist we added graphic blooms to create their guest name cards and table numbers.

Floral Design:

One of my favorite tasks is designing and creating the floral arrangements.  Starting with the Bride’s bouquet as the focal point.  Both Lauren and her Mother, Ricki have sensitivity to very fragrant flowers.  We were very careful to pick just the right flowers.  Keeping Lauren’s bouquet more neutral, we picked white carnations, creamy roses, white calla lilies, white astilbe, Italian ruscus, accented by two different succulents and pops of burgundy astilbe, all wrapped in ivory lace.  Once we got Lauren’s bouquet set, the rest of the  bridal party was next.  Mike’s boutonniere matched Lauren’s bouquet with his own mini succulent. The Bridesmaids carried “Mother of  Pearl” roses and burgundy carnations accented with greens. We kept the reception floral arrangements easy and simple. One tall centerpieces in the center of each table. Each arrangement was full of greens with “black Pearl” roses, “Mother of Pearl” roses, “Creme de Creme” roses,  and burgundy carnations set on top a gold riser.
