A Gables Wedding

A perfect day for a sweet Gables Wedding.  Sarah and Dan started planning their wedding with us two years prior to their wedding date.  They both knew exactly what they wanted.  As we discussed their wedding’s floral design, it became very clear these two were meant for each other.  Finishing each other’s thoughts, gushing over all the details, and their excitement for their wedding day.

Sarah’s choose burgundy, mauve, and white for her wedding colors.  Sarah’s bouquet was filled with white roses, garden roses, freesia, astilbe, lisianthus and finished with assorted greens.  The bridesmaids carried a single rose with seeded eucalyptus.

The Gables at Chadd Ford is a fabulous converted barn with a pitched roof and two amazing rustic chandeliers. Hand-tied assorted fern garlands were installed to both layers of the chandeliers. Then, we framed out the dance floor with Italian ruscus.  Covering the beams to mimic an English garden wall.  Guests tables had two designs for centerpieces. One-half of the tables were set with wooden slabs, tall lanterns with accents of Italian ruscus.  The other half of the tables were set with a wooden slab, trio of vases with white pillar candles accented with Italian ruscus.

Keeping with the rustic theme, Sarah used painted white shutters for her name card display.
